The Widener Journal of Law, Economics and Race will present the 2014 edition of its annual symposium on Thursday, February 20th from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. in the Ruby R. Vale Moot Courtroom. This year’s topic is Domestic Violence Issues in the Law, Economics, and Race.

Attorneys in Delaware and Pennsylvania are eligible for 2 CLE credits, and check-in will begin outside the Vale Moot Courtroom at 5:30 p.m. New Jersey attorneys can self-report with Widener’s Certificate of Attendance. A reception will follow after the conclusion of the event in the Strine Atrium. The event will also be simulcast to the Harrisburg campus.

The Widener Journal of Law, Economics and Race is published jointly by both the Delaware and Harrisburg campuses and is entirely online. The first issue was published in the spring of 2010, and since then, the Journal has continued to publish a new issue each fall and spring semester. The journal is designed to provide a forum for in-depth analysis and academic discourse on issues involving the intersection of the law, race, and economics.
