Members of the Widener University School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors and Widener Law students took part in a Martin Luther King community day of service project. With President James T. Harris and other Widener University students, the group volunteered their time by gathering at Stetser Elementary School located in Chester, Pennsylvania. To the delight of Principal Janet Baldwin, the school underwent some recent renovations, but as a result, the library became completely disorganized. The volunteers sorted through all the books in the library, organized them, and put them back on the shelves.

Widener Law Alumni Board president, Renae Axelrod ’91 said, β€œIt felt so great to give back to the community, what a rewarding experience to take time out of our busy day to give back.”
