Three students from the Health Law Society
recently competed in the 2nd Annual Health Law Regulatory & Compliance Competition held at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
Health Law Society President Tiffany D. Coleman and fellow society members Nathan Carr-Whealy and Caitlin Conk traveled to Baltimore, Maryland for the competition, which was held Saturday, February 16th.
Widener Law’s Health Law Society has sent a team to compete in each year of the competition’s existence, and hopes to keep the tradition going. This year’s competition focused on food and drug law, particularly with regard to laws that regulate companies manufacturing products under the purview of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
In the accompanying video, Tiffany, Caitlin, and Nathan share their thoughts on the competition. They also discuss how to get involved in the future. The Health Law Society has sent a team to compete in each year of the competition’s existence and hopes to keep that tradition going in the future.
