This past Sunday, law students, faculty, family, and friends flocked to the Widener Harrisburg Campus’ Dean’s Picnic to celebrate both their love for legal issues and their refined palate for sunny blue skies. Burgers, beer, music and games kept attendees busy, while student organizations sought to spark discussions on legal issues.Student Bar Association

greeted them with a potent dose of reality. The group pushed for public awareness and more robust legislation to secure the rights and welfare of non-human animals. According to the group, current laws are insufficient to ensure the livelihoods of non-human animals.
