Intellectual Property Society Invites Four District Court Judges to Share a View from the Bench

On Monday, March 26th Widener Law’s Intellectual Property Society hosted four judges from the United States District Court for the District of Delaware for “A View from the Bench.”

Chief Judge Gregory M. Sleet, Judge Leonard P. Stark, Judge Richard G. Andrews, and Magistrate Judge Christopher J. Burke spoke to an audience of students, faculty, staff, and practitioners about a variety of intellectual property related subjects. Karen E. Keller, Esq. of Shaw Keller LLP served as moderator for the panel.

The wide-ranging discussion touched on a number of topics ranging from how to reign in the increasing cost of the discovery process to the mediation process, advice for those who will be practicing in the district, and what organizations might beneficial for students interested in intellectual property practice to join.
