Widener Women's Network Harrisburg Chapter Spring Alumnae Gathering

The Widener Women’s Network (WWN) Harrisburg Chapter held a luncheon on April 5, 2011. Prior to the luncheon’s keynote address, the alumnae and future alumnae networked among each other while enjoying a light lunch provided by event sponsor ROBINSON & GERALDO.

After the meal and networking session, Dean Linda L. Ammons provided the keynote speech. During her presentation, the Dean engaged attendees in discussion and shared these tips:

Coercive power destroys
Positive use of power energizes
Leadership is action, not a position

Dean Ammons ended her address at the Widener Women’s Network luncheon with this quote by Eleanor Roosevelt: “Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people.”

Widener Law extends its appreciation to Class Agent Amy Miller ’09 for her assistance in orchestrating this event and to ROBINSON & GERALDO for sponsoring the event. The next Widener Women’s Network event for the Harrisburg Chapter will be held in the fall of 2011.
