On Tuesday, June 22nd, the Delaware campus welcomed members of the incoming class to an informal picnic. The Harrisburg campus held a similar event the following day on Wednesday, June 23rd.
The picnics provided the new first-year students with the opportunity to meet and get to know fellow classmates. Students found roommates and potential study partners. The experience gave the students a taste of the campus and will hopefully allow them to arrive in August knowing there will be some familiar faces. Dean
Linda L. Ammons attended the event on both campuses, and representatives from the
Financial Aid, Registrar,
Career Development, and
Student Affairs offices were on hand to answer any questions.
