The Harrisburg campus will mark Election Week with two events in which students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in discussions connected to the presidential race.
First:
WHAT: “
Policy and Pizza in the Pit
” -
The impact the next president will have on the U.S. Supreme Court.
WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 4 *Election Day* at noon.
WHERE: The Pit, student lounge, Main Law Building.
WHO: Widener Law
Professor Robert C. Power
, the H. Albert Young fellow in constitutional law, speaks about the impact the next president will have on the U.S. Supreme Court.
Second:
WHAT: “

Professor John C. Dernbach
, expert on environmental law and climate change.
Associate Professor Wesley M. Oliver
, constitutional law expert and Obama/Biden supporter.
Second-year law student Bryan DePowell, McCain/Palin supporter.
Guest: California attorney Rishi Batra, who will serve as a volunteer poll monitor in Pennsylvania on Election Day.
Guest: Attorney Kevin Lovecchio, a Democrat working on a Republican New York State Senate campaign, former clerk to Chief Judge Anthony J. Scirica of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
