On Saturday, August 16th, Widener Law’s Delaware campus will play host to the annual minority job fair sponsored by the Delaware State Bar Association's Minority Job Fair Committee and Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP. Aimed at second and third-year law students, the fair will allow participating students the opportunity to interview with a wide variety of potential employers in Delaware.
“The program will feature a breakfast, and participating students will have the opportunity to speak with about ninety area employers,” says LeaNora Ruffin, Widener Law’s Assistant Dean for Career Development. Participating employers include public organizations such as the Delaware Department of Justice, Community Legal Aid Society, and the Family Court of Delaware as well as private law firms.
A similar job fair for first-year law students will take place in January 2009, again sponsored by the Delaware State Bar Association.
