The Annual Harrisburg Alumni Reception

Dean Linda L. Ammons and Vice Dean John L. Gedid welcomed alumni and their guests to Appalachian Brewing Company on Thursday, May 29, 2008, for the Annual Harrisburg Alumni Reception. At this year’s reception attendees enjoyed in-house brews and hors d’oeuvres, as well as entertainment from alumni band All Jacked Up, including band members Hon. Scott Evans ’81, Nate Giunta ’03, Greg Mills ’03, Josh Vecchio ’04, and Elizabeth Benion.

During the reception, George Bibikos, a 2003 graduate of the Harrisburg campus, was honored for receiving the Outstanding Recent Alumnus Award at the fall Alumni Awards Ceremony. This award recognizes work by recent graduates (five years out) who show energy and dedication as lawyers or community leaders and/or provide invaluable service to Widener University School of Law.
