Pennsylvania Bar Passers Ceremony

On Wednesday, November 14, 2007 forty-three Widener Law graduates were admitted to the practice of law at a ceremony that was held in Philadelphia City Hall, Courtroom 653. Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice J. Michael Eakin presided with The Honorable Joel S. Johnson ‘91, Judge, Philadelphia County, Court of Common Pleas, Family Division, The Honorable C. Darnell Jones II, President Judge, Philadelphia County, Court of Common Pleas, The Honorable Charles P. Mirarchi, Jr., Administrative Judge Emeritus, Philadelphia County, Court of Common Pleas, Trial Division, and The Honorable Margaret T. Murphy ‘77, Supervising Judge, Philadelphia County, Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations.

This Widener-unique event allows the Law School graduates to be admitted to the bar alongside their friends and classmates. A reception that welcomed family and friends to celebrate with the graduates followed the ceremony.
