Dean Linda L. Ammons presents the Employee Appreciation Award to Ed Sonnenberg.

Congratulations to Ed Sonnenberg, the recipient of the Harrisburg Campus employee appreciation award for Spring 2013. An Ohio native, Ed joined the Widener community in 1999 and is the Reference/Government Documents Librarian and the Faculty and Research Instructional Services Team Leader.

Ed has been recognized for this award for his ability, work ethic and demeanor; and students as well as faculty, flock to his office for research assistance. Ed provides invaluable help to faculty in many aspects of research from publications, dissertations, to travels abroad; in addition he also works with Legal Methods faculty to help provide legal research training to first year students. He is not afraid to tackle any challenge.

On a personal note, Ed has a home in a co-housing community in Adams County where he and his neighbors farm organically and have recently added raising chickens to their endeavors. He is an accomplished chef and baker. Ed loves to travel and is currently taking French lessons in hopes of visiting France in the near future.
