OverviewThe Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) in Corporate and Business Law is Widener’s response to the growing demand for trained graduates in corporate and business law. Our elite courses are designed for those seeking graduate-level training in variety of legal principles, specific bodies of corporate and business law, and regulatory compliance.
Flexible Scheduling The MJ in Corporate and Business Law is an online program designed to accommodate the working professional seeking to improve employment opportunities or simply to keep pace with changing regulatory requirements. It requires 28 credit hours of course work and can be completed in two academic years.

Compliance Certification Board (CCB) and the Society for
Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).
Program ObjectiveStudents learn from elite professional practitioners in the heart of corporate legal and business law who impart real life experiences and seek to equip students with skills necessary for success in today’s corporate and business law environment.
ExternshipsThe MJ program offers a Corporate and Business Law Externship in a variety of settings. This externship is open to students who have successfully completed their first year courses and is a great opportunity to gain practical skills training while earning credits toward graduation.
EligibilityStudents must possess a Bachelor’s degree with competitive GPA. Applicants should preferably have experience within a corporate or business setting.
TuitionThe tuition for the 2013-2014 academic year is $994 per credit*. Financial aid is available for qualified students. (*Subject to change.)

SCCE exam questions.

Compliance Certification Board's (CCB) exam to become a Certified Corporate Compliance and Ethics Professional-International (CCEP-I). According to the Compliance Certification Board, the Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional–International (CCEP-I)® is someone with knowledge of relevant international regulations and expertise in compliance processes sufficient to assist organizations with their legal obligations, and someone who promotes organizational integrity through the operation of effective compliance programs.

Specifically, Widener University School of Law was recognized for achievements in academic development promoting the profession of compliance and ethics, technology focused on assisting compliance professionals, and the development of programs focused on integrity and ethical behaviors. Students graduating from this program earn not only a Master’s Degree but also a Certificate in Global Compliance and Ethics.
