Harrisburg Judicial Externship Program

Are you interested in learning about the legal system from the judicial side? If so, the Harrisburg Judicial Externship program is just what you’re looking for. As a second or third-year Widener Law student on the Harrisburg campus, you can obtain academic credit while working in the chambers of a judge, observing judicial proceedings, drafting documents, and conducting legal research for the court.

The externship program offers a wonderful opportunity to familiarize yourself with the local legal community and gain valuable contacts and references. As an extern, you will participate in a weekly classroom component in addition to the work you do for the court. The Harrisburg Judicial Externship Program offers you a great combination of practical experience, network building, and the opportunity to improve your legal research and writing skills.
