Darlene Heep is the Staff Attorney for the Environmental Law Clinic at Widener University School of Law Harrisburg. Ms. Heep received her B.A. from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She has served as an attorney for the Environmental Enforcement Section of the United States Department of Justice, a Senior Attorney in the Environmental Section of the Law Department of the City of Philadelphia, and a staff member handling Environmental and Department of Interior issues for a member of Congress.
Her experience also includes serving as an environmental law consultant and attorney for various programs including the American Bar Association Central and East European Environmental Law Initiative (Uzbekistan), The International Foundation for Election Systems (DRC), World Resources Institute, and World Wide Fund for Nature (World Wildlife Fund in USA). She has also worked as head of the Rule of Law program in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a researcher for the Federal Judicial Center, and has held two federal clerkships.
She supervises the Environmental Litigation course and Environmental Clinic on the Harrisburg campus. Ms. Heep is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and in Louisiana.
